I would have to go with the Shadow Hearts series. A JRPG set in modern times, and great characters. Often been tempted by these. What drew you to the series? What kept you in it? I play games so slowly that I am left with a wealth of old RPGs to go explore.

What's your favorite non-Final Fantasy JRPG? For me it's either Bravely Default or Chrono Trigger. It's kind of funny since both of those sort of have a Final Fantasy lineage anyway. What about you guys? These are both Final Fantasy in my mind, hehe.

Plus i love the main bad guy. I highly suggest you give it a go.

But now I am afraid that I will fall in love with the bad guy. Sesshomaru may get jealous.

I still enjoy a good play through of dot hack and dot hack GU. I still do love dark cloud its one my top rpg's. I bought dot hack when I was 10 but I returned it a couple of days later because I couldn't figure anything out. One of the few cases, even when I was young, where I had to return a game for a reason like that. As for me, I'd say Pokemon if that counts as a JRPG

Through eyes of the RPG I talked to everybody and through the eyes of an mmo I made sure to have my self visiting the item store like its my crack shop.

I picked it up on day one, but it was marketed to me wrong. I was expecting a FF type game so I ended up not appreciated it for the game it was. Thanks for the list btw. I am gonna mine that as I try to play through all the old RPGs I never got to play.
