The new graphics kind of bugged me at first. Or perhaps, it was actually seeing the graphics clearly instead of what I thought I had been seeing the previous times. The battle music feels different, too. I also noticed some slow load times in battle. I will get the screen-shatter, my characters will appear, but then 3 or 4 seconds will go by before the system tells me what type of battle I am going to have or before monsters spawn.
Anyone else noticing any of these (or other) differences?
I still like the game, but it just feels a little off.
I also avoided the expert grid. Looks interesting, though. Maybe next play though.

I didnt have any lag that i noticed that badly. Sometimes the monsters took a moment but it didnt bother me.
They have orchestral versions of the original tracks now. They did the same for kingdom hearts 1.5 version. Its nice

After Joe bought the collector's edition I played it for half an hour and didn't notice any changes but it would take someone who knows 10 better than I to say for sure.

I WTFed myself, until I checked online and saw that HDMI cables create enough lad to make it very difficult to dodge lightning properly. But that did lead me to find the crater/lightning trick.

I would want to beat it first but if Kaleb had it on ps3 I'm sure he would do hard mode purely for the hog status.

if you want to call it "hard mode" it's just a different Sphere grid (which can be changed anyway).

Yeah well I call it hard mode because it prevents you from getting max stats.

I played it this last summer and decided I was going to try and get a platinum trophy for the game. One of the hardest trophies is to fill the entire sphere grid with every character. This includes ALL the empty nodes as well. This takes forever and spending a ridiculous amount of time at the monster arena.
The other hard trophy is to beat all the dark aeons which were in the international version. I fought some with max strength, accuracy, speed, evasion, magic attack/defense, defense, and magic and still got my ass kicked. Apparently if you don't max out the luck stat you can still miss an enemy even with max accuracy, and the only way to max out the luck stat is through the monster arena. I haven't gone back to it yet but I'm trying x-2 now.

I admit, it is a true pain + time consumption. Call me crazy ^^, but I suggest removing your some Magic Strength spheres to Luck spheres. Just keep it physical on the aeons.
