Agreed. I don't listen to much Grateful Dead, or Phish, but the others are great groups. Especially Pink Floyd and the Beatles. The Rolling Stones were just in my city last weekend....was irritated I didn't have the chance to see them, since I had family plans. My dad and I were totally down to go see them, but apparently everyone else in my family has crappy taste in music. Ridiculous. My family has the same problems. I just say "f" them and go anyway even if I have family plans. Its a limited time event and you never regret going to a limited time event.

i'm all about metal. thrash, prog, death etc. top favs are Dream theater Trivium Testament Suicidal tendencies avenged sevenfold dethklok lamb of god megadeth metallica (load and reload is their last good album i liked) Death Magnetic is great! The song that got radio play was good, but I could not get into the album. I will go check it out again. Any songs in particular that stand out?

Well, it's been changing a lot lately for me. Most recently, I've been listening to Crooked Fingers, The Polyphonic Spree, and Volbeat.
Most of the time, though, it's various instrumental/ambient kind of stuff. Helps me focus at work.
