Out of all the amazing moments in Final Fantasy VII, which are you most excited to see in HD?
I didn't even think about this until I heard a podcast that covered E3 mentioned it...
I can't wait to see Cloud crossdressing in HD! That will give everyone more of a reason to complete all the side quests in Wall Street besides having a date with that eternal stud Don Corneo.

I agree with Shinryu; definitely Aerith's death. I think the Nibelheim burning scene will be pretty sick as well, especially if they stick to the awesome music from the original.

I really would like to see how the parade mini game plays out if they keep it in, along with the CPR scene!

First seeing the Weapons released from the Crater, also seeing Diamond Weapon marching toward Midgar, may just be because i like Japanese Kaiju films but that scene always struck me with awe and an epic feel, I know FF4 has a similar part with The Giant of Babil but Diamond Weapon was just 100 times more bad ass looking marching toward the beach :-)

The part where cloud flash backs and you play as sephiroth for the first time and you realize just how powerful he is. I remember thinking "holy shit this guy is crazy strong"

Assuming any of our favourite parts from the original are actually in the remake. From what I understand it's going to be a very different game.

Where do you get that it's going to be "very different"? From what I've heard, they are going to make a few changes to make FFVII better than the original, because they didn't see a reason to completely remake FFVII without adding stuff. My opinion is that they are going to add stuff, but not take stuff out.

Nomura already confirmed he is keeping and not changing any of the iconic fan favorite scenes. Nothing is getting removed from the game but only improved like Cait Sith might actually get a better story and Yuffie too.

Scene I'm most excited for- Cosmo Canyon in general. Tunes, seeing Seto petrified up on the hill.... but also, when Bugenhagen takes the party up into his little astronomy tower and does the explanation of the lifestream and materia.

This interview with Nomura mostly: www.vg247.com/2015/06/18/ff7-remake-we-dont-need-two-of-the-same-thing-says-nomura/And the fact that the game needs to be far more 'modernized' in its gameplay, particularly the battle system, in order to appeal to newer gamers and gamers who may be new to FF. I hate to be cynical, but this move strikes me as primarily a financial one from SE. Obviously they want to sell as many copies as possible, but they know that any fans of the original are essentially guaranteed buyers of this game, and so they need to be catering more towards gamers who may be new to FF by making the game more action-oriented (I would be very surprised if the ATB returned). Again, I hate to be cynical. I'm still very excited and this will be a day one pick up for me, but I'm not going in with the expectation of playing a familiar game.
